Account & sign-in

How do I sign in? You can use Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or your email address (we send a 6-digit code; no password needed).
I didn't get my email code. Check your spam/junk folder and that the address is spelled correctly, then request a new code. Codes expire after a few minutes. If it still doesn't arrive, email support@vibedecode.app.
Can I change my email? Contact support@vibedecode.app and we'll help you move your account.

Subscriptions & billing

What plans are there? A free tier, plus Plus and Pro plans (available weekly or yearly). Current prices and what's included are shown in the app before you subscribe.
Free trial: paid plans may include a free trial, and its length depends on the plan you choose (weekly and yearly plans may differ). The exact length is shown before you subscribe. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged. Any unused trial time is forfeited when a paid subscription begins.
How do I manage or cancel? Subscriptions are billed and managed by the App Store / Google Play:
- iPhone/iPad: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Vibe Decode > Cancel.
- Android: Google Play Store > profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Vibe Decode > Cancel.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current period.
Restore a purchase: if you reinstalled or switched devices, use Restore Purchases on the subscription screen to re-link your active plan.
Refunds are handled by the store, not by us: see Apple's refund process or Google Play refunds.
I paid but my plan didn't unlock. Try Restore Purchases first; if it still doesn't show, email support@vibedecode.app with the date of purchase and we'll sort it out.

Using the app

What is a decode? You paste a message, upload a screenshot of a conversation, or describe a situation in your own words. Vibe Decode analyzes the wording, tone, timing, and effort in what they said or did, together with the context you provide, and gives you a read on what it might mean. Decodes for the same person build a history, so each new read is weighed against their pattern over time.
Screenshot decode: you can upload a screenshot of a conversation instead of typing it. We extract the text for analysis; uploaded images are deleted shortly after processing (see our Privacy Policy).
Deep Analysis is a deeper, layered read: interest level and relationship health, communication patterns, green and red flags, and what to watch for.
Chat: ask follow-up questions about a person or situation; replies use your decode history as context.
Plan limits: the exact monthly limits for your plan are always visible in the app (Settings and on the relevant screens).

Privacy & your data

Export your data: Settings > Data & Privacy > Export My Data.
Delete your account: Settings > Data & Privacy > Delete Account, or visit vibedecode.app/delete-account. Deletion is permanent. (Cancel any active subscription separately in the App Store / Google Play.)
AI processing: some features send your text to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a read. You control this with the AI consent you grant in the app and can withdraw it any time in Settings > Data & Privacy. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

A decode failed or the app seems stuck: check your internet connection, then fully close and reopen the app. If it persists, update to the latest version.
